Entrepreneurship is one of the most important strengths for the development of countries. We can say that entrepreneurship is the engine of the vehicle leading to increase in welfare, development and improvement. For this reason, it is very important for our country to produce, create, add value and do all these in an economic activity plane. The fact that competition, globalisation, epidemics, artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0 trend and many others make the “existence” equation more complex day by day turns the eyes to young people and entrepreneurship in our country. These “expectations” on young people are not unjustified when qualities such as technological predisposition, education levels, information processing and utilisation skills, 21st century skills, comprehension capacities, etc. are considered. At this point, the evaluation of these expectations in the context of entrepreneurship with the opportunities and threats presented within the scope of youth employment will constitute the subject of this session. Some of the questions to be answered in the session are as follows:
- What is the situation of youth employment in our country?
- How can entrepreneurship be evaluated in the context of opportunities and conditions offered to young people?
- Is enough attention given to entrepreneurship in our country?
