Erhan AKDEMİR received his undergraduate degree from Atılım University, Department of International Relations in 2003. Akdemir, who started his master’s degree in International Relations at Ankara University Social Sciences Institute International Relations Department in 2004, completed his master’s degree in 2006 with his thesis titled “The Role of Think Tanks in the Foreign Policy Formation Process in the USA: A Study Specific to the Middle East”. In 2012, he completed his doctorate in the same university and department with his study titled “The Formation of European Identity and Culture in the Context of Identity and Culture Debates and Its Impact on Turkey-European Union Relations”. Erhan Akdemir carried out some of his doctoral studies at the European Union Center of Warsaw University in Poland by winning a Polish State scholarship. Akdemir, who worked as a European Union Specialist at Ankara University European Communities Research and Application Center (ATAUM) between 2004 and 2013, is still an Associate Professor Dr. at Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics, Department of International Relations. Erhan Akdemir is also the Chairman of the Board of Eskişehir European Union Association.
Nilgün Çağlarırmak Uslu received her bachelor’s degree from Anadolu University, Department of Economics in 1993. She graduated from Anadolu University Social Sciences Institute Economic Development Department in 1996 with her thesis titled “Financial Liberalization and Policies for Financial Liberalization in Turkey”. She completed his PhD with the subject of Çağlarırmak Uslu, who received the title of Associate Professor in Macro Economics in 2011, was appointed to Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics, Department of Financial Economics in 2020 as a Professor. Çağlarırmak Uslu, who has been involved in many scientific research projects and as an executive and researcher, is also an “Independent Foreign Expert” at the Turkish National Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Presidency for EU Affairs.
Tezcan Özkan Kutlu completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Eskişehir. She graduated from Eskişehir Anadolu University, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Department of Press and Broadcasting in 2003. She completed her master’s degree in Anadolu University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Press and Broadcasting in 2006. Özkan Kutlu, who started her doctorate program in the same department in 2006, completed her doctoral education in 2014 with her thesis titled “New Journalist Identity in the Context of New Communication Technologies” and was awarded the title of doctorate. Dr. Lecturer Tezcan Özkan Kutlu is still working at Anadolu University, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Department of Press and Broadcasting. Her academic interests include; new communication technologies, new media studies, Internet and digital journalism, news verification, digital media literacy and new media sociology.
He graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Communication Sciences, Press and Broadcasting Department (major) and Cinema and Television department (second major) undergraduate programs. He completed his master’s degree in Communication Studies at Stockholm University. He received his PhD from the Department of Journalism Studies at the University of Sheffield. In his doctoral thesis, he examined how Turkey-European Union relations were presented in the UK media. His research in recent years has focused on the representations of Syrian refugees in the media and Turkish-Greek relations. He is still working at Anadolu University Faculty of Communication Sciences.
After graduating from Ege University, Department of International Relations, Duru ŞAHYAR AKDEMİR received her master’s and doctorate degrees from Hacettepe University, Department of Human Rights. Duru Şahyar Akdemir, who has been working at Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics, Department of Political Science and Public Administration since 2016, studies and lectures on human rights, women’s rights, urban rights, political participation, and local democracy.
Seda TEKELİ graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations in 2000. She received her master’s degree in 2002 with her thesis titled “The Relationship of Workers Unions and Political Parties from Past to Present in Turkey”. She completed her doctorate in 2010 with her thesis titled “Resentment in the Turkish Labor Market, the Profile of Offended Workers and an Econometric Analysis of Offensiveness”. TEKELİ, who carries out studies on subjects such as labor market, social policy, disadvantaged groups and social problems, served as Anadolu University Personnel Certification Unit Manager between 2018-2021. She has been serving as Anadolu University Career Center Manager since 2020.
